LED scroller app: scrolling text on your phone
Screaming Screen turns any phone into an LED scroller — a moving-text marquee that fills the whole screen at maximum brightness. Type a message, pick a speed and a neon font, hit FULL SCREEN.
How the LED scroller works
- Type your text — any language, any emoji, up to 200 characters.
- Under Animation choose Scrolling and set the speed: slow, normal or fast.
- Pick text and background colors and a font. Press Start gives the classic pixel LED-panel look; Rubik Mono and Russo One are wide and readable across a room.
- Tap FULL SCREEN and hold the phone sideways. The text scrolls edge to edge, brightness goes to maximum and the screen stays awake until you tap.
Why a phone beats an LED sign
A real LED board is bulky, dim in daylight and shows whatever you programmed at home. Your phone screen is brighter than most cheap LED panels, fits in a pocket and updates in seconds — change the message between songs, between flights, between guests. There is nothing to charge separately and nothing to forget.
What's free and what's PRO
Static banners are free with no limits. Scrolling text, blink, pulse, rainbow, premium fonts and attention flashes are free to try: 5 full-length runs, then 15-second demos. PRO is a one-time purchase that removes the timer forever — no subscription, no ads, no account.
Tips for readable scrolling text
- Keep it short: 3–6 words per pass are read from further away than a full sentence.
- High contrast wins: neon green, yellow or white on black.
- Use the normal speed for distances over 10 metres; fast only for short words.
- Showing the banner through a car window? Turn on Mirrored text.
